Paris Saint-Germain have made a €12 million bid to Sevilla to secure the services of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou (32) – according to Foot Mercato. The Spanish side have reportedly set a price of €15 million, with an additional €3 million in variables, to facilitate the transfer.
PSG, with newly appointed manager Luis Enrique at the helm, are reportedly leading the race for the Moroccan international. The club has tabled an initial bid of €12 million, accompanied by bonuses, in an attempt to persuade Sevilla FC to release Bounou from the remaining two years of his contract.
Bounou comes off the back of a Europa League-winning season with Sevilla, as well as reaching the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar with Morocco. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has become highly sought-after – attracting interest from clubs including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Saudi Arabian outfits.
